Week 2: Design and Architecture (Days 8–14)
With validated flows, your design team creates high-fidelity screens. Simultaneously, your backend architect designs the data models and API structure. The goal: zero surprises during development.
Key decisions this week:
- Tech stack (native iOS/Android, React Native, Flutter, or web app?)
- Backend architecture (serverless, BaaS like Firebase, or custom API?)
- Third-party services (authentication, payments, notifications)
- Hosting and infrastructure
Week 3: Core Development (Days 15–21)
This is where the real build happens. With clear designs and a solid architecture, development moves fast. The key to speed: resist scope creep fiercely.
Every feature request that comes up during development gets evaluated with one question: "Is this required for the MVP to deliver its core value?" If the answer is no, it goes on the backlog ? no exceptions.
Week 4: QA, Polish, and Launch (Days 22–30)
Testing is not optional. A buggy MVP that crashes on first launch is worse than no MVP at all. Run systematic QA across devices, fix critical bugs, and add enough polish that users don't feel like beta testers.
On day 30: launch to a small, targeted group of users. Not a full public launch ? a controlled beta with 50–100 users who fit your target profile exactly. Their feedback shapes version 1.1.
